HVYF&CA is open to residents of Hopewell, Titusville, Pennington, Ewing, Montgomery, Flemington, Princeton, and more.  We encourage participants of all ages and skill levels to come out and join us! 

Equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey, practice pants, game jersey, game pants, belt, and necessary pads) is handed out during the first day of practice.  Participants will need their own cleats, athletic supporter, and mouth guard.  

HVYF&CA understands and supports families that may be vacationing during the early part of the season.  HVYF&CA also understands that some players may participate in other sports during the football season.  We have many two-sport participants each year.  We are happy to accommodate two-sport participants where possible.  Practice will be held from 6pm to 8pm at the HVYF&CA Field as follows:

Weight Certification will likely be held Saturday, September 7th in Florence, NJ.  All football players must be certified in order to participate in games.  Once players have been certified, they will be issued an identification card with their information.  Cards are kept with the head coach and are checked by the opposing team at the beginning of each game.  Players are not required to weigh in prior to every game.  The dates listed, while reasonably accurate for the upcoming season, are subject to change.

West Jersey Youth Football follows NJ high school rules, as dictated by NJSIAA, with several minor modifications. The season schedule is determined by West Jersey Youth Football and is subject to change. Once the schedule is established, it will be publicized on the website.  Championship games are typically played the weekend before Thanksgiving.

HVYF&CA issued equipment is to be returned at the end of the season.  Head coaches will communicate with their team via email detailing the date and time for equipment return.
